Layered floral wishes

Hello crafting peeps!!!

I made a quick Birthday card before the onset of the long weekend.  This is my first trial of handmade card making.

I have used pattern paper and burlap ribbon  for layering.  cut two thin strips from orange card stock and added them on the right side of the cardand stamped tiny floral stamps on it. Created a bow using the glitter ribbon to make it sparkly.  Finally added floral embellishments.

. Had fun making the card.  Do you leave your valuable comments and suggestions for improvements.

upcycle craft milk bag/bread tags wall frame

Spring/easter reminds me of colour pop.  After the dull/boring winter lets spring into colours. I have been fascinated by the colorful tag/clips that come as a part of the packaging of breads and milk bags.  I have been hoarding it quite sometime now.  Thought of putting it to use.  I had few ideas but decided to make a home decor.  Wanted to make a quirky modern art, kind of looking pixelated.

Sorted my hoarding into colours and then decided to make a pattern.Arranged the whole thing on a printer paper  and stuck them with a strong glue.

1st Birthday Theme

This exciting order on commission was a real challenge to me.  My
sweet customer really brings the best
out of me. My challenge was to incorporate photos into the frame and should be in the form of a wish..  After a lot of trials and rearrangement finally decided on the placement.

Baby Ishaan's 1st birthday gift  with his new born picture accomodated into the quilled numeral  flanked by the quilled baby elephant so apt for the theme.

Birthday quilling and balloons cannot be far behind.  I added a small bunch of free standing quilled balloons.

To add to the baby theme  I added the sentiments laugh and smiles near the baby picture  and randomly placed different kinds of ball stickers

My first experience making a typography quilling. I am very happy with the result.

To glam up the birthday theme, I added a bunting with mixed media.

On the whole a fun experience making this aweosme  16x20  framed art work.  Actual work is contained in the mat opening of 11x14.   I will happy to commission any kind of art.  Do mail me at yesveecreations@gmail.com  with your requirements.

Silk thread Jewellery Kada bangle with XLARGE size Jhumka

If you don't know your bangle size,  here is a video to help you determine.

Indian State of Kerala is famous for its traditional attire in cream and gold.  The richness in a semi white product in combination with gold is truly divine.

I designed this as a custom order to be paired up with the traditional Kerala saree.  There is no sparkly rhinestones in this but embellished with gold half beads to enhance the look.  The paired Jhumka earrings  is a extra large size  with simple yet elegant embellishment with gold bead chain.  The antique floral stud adds to the ethnic factor.

Silk thread Jewellery Kada bangle with SMALL size Jhumka

If you don't know your bangle size,  here is a video to help you.  Watch the video and determine your size and mention it in your order.

Silk thread jewelry is very much in trend in the Indian  Jewelry market.  Indians all over the world prefer to match their traditional outfit with these beauties.  These are made with viscose rayon polysilk threads  which have a good sheen and lustre.

These bangles I have wrapped with gold coloured rayon silk.  Added the gold metal bangles on either sides to give a kada bangle effect. Simple yet bold with subtle sparkel from the rhinestone stickers give a very elegant yet ethnic look to the accessory.

I have paired it up with a small size jhumka  wrapped in the same colour.  The stud is completely handmade with layered paper technique and given a water resistant coating.
